Going for It 01:39
Well, I wonder when I get up in the morning how many people are going to lie right to my face. I look in your eyes- there's nothing going on there, nothing at all. Every day is exactly the same. I don't know if I can take it when every day is the same as the last one.

Aces & Kings 02:02
Take it as a weakness held like a dagger/everybody's seen this with a different actor/I didn't notice/I'm not good with faces/especially my own Fill it with your secrets or tell it like it is/does it make a difference against aces & kings?/everybody's got them up their sleeve/it's like a disease Looks like a home feels like a prison they tell you there's a choice but you know there isn't/get out while you can Living like a doctor/I know you're a lawyer/I've seen the degree/we have it on file/piece together an identity it's like a disease

lies unknown/everywhere i go/there's something everyone seems to know/don't want it on my conscience any more leap before you look just this once get on your bike and ride it feels so good to be in the open air i like to drive everyone i know away/i always know the exact wrong thing to say/look in my head/there's nothing there/because you took it all away

there is a distance i know between the door and the fountains/though it seems like it's close, i don't think that i can reach them/holding your hand, it's so cold i don't think that i should let go/is this really happening? or is it all a dream?/// here in the back of my head, i've kept a horrible secret/not one you could guess, it would be impossible to speak it/but, where is the life i had known? where is the promise of sleeping?/where is the life i have lost? gone, like everything/// in the night, there's that one voice & it keeps repeating.... there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my love there is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my lovethere is no love like my love there is no love like mine

While you'll never be an astronaut, you can still talk about the great deals you got. All the things that you've bought will never be enough. Turned off the exit sign, you can't get out. Corridors like a maze, it's self contained. Did you see the arcade? Zaxxon's on free play.

about

Remember the mall? That place was like a second home; the first time you felt you belonged somewhere. There was a bit of danger, too...that dark hallway you thought only you knew about where they stored the crates...the thrill of a new store, the bittersweet memories of shuttered ones. Orange Julius, Galaga, & seasonal displays of animatronic elves. Gum on the carpet. Pennies in the fountain. A cheap bicycle lock was your passport to dark, glad days. First love, first job. Gone now.
